After the registration in a group course (registration formular filled in and sent to our administration), a confirmation of registration/invoice is sent to you at the latest one week before the course starts. If the course is fully booked or if we can’t open a group course, we inform you about an alternative course.
Private, semi-private and companies courses
On the registration formular for private lessons, you inform us about the amount of lessons (lessons of 1 hour at 60 minutes) you intend to take to start with. A confirmation of registration/invoice is sent to you before the first lesson and the amount of lessons registrated for is charged.
Only written cancellations of registration are accepted. The date of receipt at Alliance Française is considered as the relevant date. The registration in a group course can be cancelled free of charge up to one week before the course starts. The cancellation less than one week before the courses starts will be charged of 100,--CHF. Absences or early withdrawal from a course do not entitle the students to any refunds or reductions of the course fee. Under exceptional circumstances on early withdrawal from a course, the school direction can grant a credit voucher to be used for another course.
Private, semi-private and company courses
Private students choose the number of lessons they want to take before registration. This number of lessons is confirmed and charged. The payment is due before the course begins.
A scheduled private lesson can be cancelled and postponed free of charge until 24 hours before the lesson. The cancellation has to be written to the tutor.
The course fee is due before the course begins and according to the terms indicated on the invoice. The payment is required to reserve definitely a place in a group course. The course fee is pro-rata calculated while joining a class already in session. The price for any book required is not included in the course fee. Any book purchased at Alliance Française Zurich will be charged separately.
The direction of Alliance Française Zurich declines any responsibility for injuries, theft or loss of personal belongings at our school.
